These versatile instruments can be configured on-site as a Timer or as a Clock, or can be supplied configured to customer’s requirements for no additional charge. As a Timer they can measure and display the elapsed time between external events using sensors connected to one or two inputs.
Optional dual control outputs enable the instrument to control external devices such as opening a valve for a fixed time. Control cycles can be repeated continuously or a specified number of times.
When configured as a Clock the instruments display local time in twelve or twenty four hour format and can be externally synchronized. Optional control outputs enable two external devices to be turned on and off at pre-set times twice in each twenty four hour period.
These versatile intrinsically safe Timer or Clocks can perform a host of timing and control functions such as sampling or dosing within a hazardous area. An easy to use state and event structure enables relatively complex timing functions to be easily configured. Timing operations may be started and stopped via the inputs, or from the front panel buttons. The instrument display shows progress of the operation and international certification permits worldwide installation.
An internally powered backlight is available as a factory fitted accessory.
Timer or Clocks can be supplied configured and fitted with a customer specified printed scale card showing the units of time for no additional charge. Specified tag or application information can also be printed onto the rear of the instrument. An optional Stainless Steel legend plate is also available which can be supplied laser engraved with customer specified tag and application information for field mount models.
