Probuds hearing protection with audio are purpose-built for optimal HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1 hands-free experience.  RealWear does NOT recommend buying off the shelf (ie. Amazon) because the performance of noise cancelling, hearing protection, length of cords, and intrinsically safety has not been considered or tested for hazardous environments.   These are highly recommended for loud environments for the HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1 when you need to operate this device, include a remote collaboration call.  To improve hearing protection, you can then put over-the-ear earmuffs over to double the hearing protection in extremely noisy environments.
